THE DATA WE COLLECT
In providing an enhanced user experience and better services as well as improving our products, we collect the following information:
We will collect data about your device, such as manufacture, device model, Android device ID, OS version and application version, language setting, network setting, Android Advertising device ID and so on. These data can help to provide you with enhanced product performance and service.
We will collect location information, such as local data and IP data, to assist us to orientate the region or country where you are located. Then we are able to improve the prediction with different trends words according to different location.
If you do not want to be visited, you could turn off the related functions, but it may affect the provision of related services to you.
When you use our products and services, it may automatically collect some information through cookies or other ways and encrypt and store it in the server.
We may collect the data about the words and phrases you input to learn your writing style and provide personalized auto-correction and auto-suggestion that adapts to you. Since all the data are anonymous, we cannot locate the user according to the uploaded data
We may collect data about you and your hardware, our products, and other details related to the crash incident.This helps us improve our products and services for all users.
We may collect the Information about how you and your device interact with our products. For example, our productí»s theme-changing function will access the usersí» installed theme. If you don't want to be visited, you can turn off the function, but it may affectthe provision of related services to you.
We may record your email address after you feedback is submitted to us. It will help us to contact you and troubleshoot your problem.
DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT
We will not collect or record your pin code entered in a password field, or your credit card entered in a secure text filed for whatever reason.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

All Typany Keyboard user data stored is fully encrypted and governed by applicable privacy protection laws.
We will only disclose your personal information under the following circumstances and take safety precautions that meet the industry standards.
1) With your consent or authorization;
2) In case of emergency, in order to protect the legitimate rights and interests or public safety and interests of you, Sogou and other users.
3) Comply with the user agreement or other similar agreements of Sogou related products and services.
SHARING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may share anonymized data, where we have removed any Personal Information, with other parties.
We may share your Personal Information (including but not limited to, information from cookies, device identifiers, learned language data/Language Modeling Data and statistics) with businesses that are legally part of the same group of companies as Sogou Technology Hong Kong Limited, or that become part of that group ("Group Companies"). Group Companies may use this information to help provide, understand, and improve our Products (including by providing analytics and data analysis) and Group Companies own services.
We may share your information (including but not limited to, information from cookies, device identifiers, learned language data/Language Modeling Data and statistics) with third-party organizations that help us provide our Products ("Service Providers") such as providers of hosting services or analytics tools. Our Service Providers will only be given access to your information as is reasonably necessary and under appropriate confidentiality terms.
You always have the right at any time to refuse data controllers to process personal data based on their legitimate interests and have the right to refuse marketing based on personal data.
DEVICE PERMISSIONS AND USAGE
We may need a network access to detect whether your device is online and what kind of network is connected. Under a valid network, a version test is preformed to detect whether it is the latest version and the latest popular words may be updated to your dictionary.
We may need a microphone access to use and record microphone audio from the users' device.
We may need a storage access to read and add any items, such as keyboard themes. We promise that we will not obtain other information unrelated with Typany from your SD card.
We may need a vibration-control access to realize a vibration by pressing each button in Typany Keyboard, in order to provide a better user experience.
INFORMATION SECURITY PROTECTION
We retain your personal information only during the period necessary for the purpose described in this Policy and within the time limit required by laws and regulations.
Data security technology measures: We will adopt industry-standard security protection measures, including the establishment of a reasonable system of regulations, and security technology to prevent your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or modification, to avoid data damage or loss; We will use security technology and procedures to monitor and record network operating conditions and network security incidents, and take necessary technical measures to ensure network security to prevent information loss, improper use, unauthorized reading or disclosure. For example, in some services, we will use encryption technology to protect the personal information you provide. Handling of security incidents: In order to deal with potential risks such as disclosure, damage and loss of personal information, Sogou established a special emergency response team to initiate security plans, stop loss, conduct analysis, set out remedial measures and coordinate with related departments to trace and attack against different security incidents in accordance with relevant requirements of Sogou. At the same time, Sogou will promptly inform you in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations of the basic situation and possible impact of security incidents, the handling measures that Sogou has taken or will take, the suggestions that you can take for independent prevention and reduce risks, and the remedies for you etc. Sogou will promptly notify you of the incident-related situation by e-mail, letter, telephone and push notification, etc. When it is difficult to notify each subject of the personal information one by one, Sogou will issue an announcement in a reasonable and effective manner. At the same time, Sogou will also take the initiative to report on the handling of personal information security incidents in accordance with regulatory requirements.
MINORS' PERSONAL INFORMATION PROTECTION
We attach great importance to the protection of minor personal information. We will not knowingly collect or request personal details from children under 13 (or any other age stipulated by law applicable to your region).
